hmm....need more facts on that one really....I hate smokers...but agree that its gettiing a bit crazy!

I am an ex smoker of 11 monts 2 weeks and 2 days.
But regardless of this I am fed up with Laws used for mass 'back door' taxation !! as are a lot of people judjing by the election results
at the moment.

Agree with smoking or not, this is taking things to the limit.
The same government and lobbyist will soon get round to banning old and kit cars and anything which doesn't come off a mainstream production
line or is less that 10 years old, other european countries ar part way there........

I assume you all know which is as far as I'm aware the only bar in the UK you can still smoke legally ?

Utterly stupid.
Even if it is technically against the law, what on earth would make the council guy actually fine him rather than just take no notice?

hmm, but its NOT against the law. its illegal to smoke in a works van (like if you work for the council, or parcel force or something) but if its his
own van that only he drives, then its not illegal
or is that just scotland?
