Custom side windows...Sources and materials?

My classic TVR is missing its side windows and quaterlights..

Rather than spend months searching for the standard TVR ones (if there are any out there), and then pay a ridiculous amount for them, I figure it might be easier if I make my own windows and frames up..

First off, what material can I use to make the side windows? They will be manually wound up and down...

I quite like the idea of polycarbonate, but will that scratch? Would good old simple toughened glass be better?

Are there any companies who can cut toughened/safety glass to my design?

Likewise, anywhere I can buy and get cut polycarbonate?
