I'm amazed they have a built car to start with. You could have saved a significant amount of time if they just bought the shell and bits they
need from Subaru.
Plus I reckon the tea breaks were too long!

That's what I thought too... why not just get a shell from the factory?
PS - Americans don't do tea breaks. They have coffee and donut brakes... !

I'm sorry I can't remember why, but they did say why they start with a built car in that Subaru Rally program that was on

You can 't or couldnt buy a shell from subaru as they are / where only allowed to inport so many cars and a shell counted as a car

Doesnt the rules state that it has to be a standard production car.
Then they transform,I would also say its cheaper to buy it as a whole and modify the Engine/Gearbox/Shell rather than buy it piece by piece
