Old Git

It's my birthday today, I am 56. Several people have mentioned this week that it's about time I gave up being a "boy racer" and had a sensible hobby. What do you guys think.

Happy Birthday!! Many happy returns. Our old man is 68 years old this year and there's nothing he likes better than taking the Indy for a spin. As long as it makes you happy, stick with it...........

Don't even think about giving up
Still a few years till I hit that milestone (well 13) and I certainly hope to still be avoiding
"sensible" hobbies then.

Many happy returns

I was 56 a couple of weeks ago - I have absolutely NO intention of giving up my car!

I have no intention of growing up...

just after jumping up and down and waving my arms around in the middle of edinburgh (*) i said "do you think i'll ever grow up? do you mind if i don't?" to the girlfriend.

she replied "no"

I asked to which point and she just laughed.

35 and still acting like a kid - i might have reached puberty by the time i'm 56!

(*) i haven't a clue why now but it was funny at the time from my perspective.

What would they rather you were doing? I can't think of any hobby that is 'sensible'.
I think they're just jealous they don't do anything interesting with their spare time.

Happy birthday for yesterday

I got started with my Luego at 60, Great fun!!! now approaching 62 and have had more fun in the last year, out and about than I ever had on the golf course(sensible hobbie) Just driving around is a thrill and we need our thrills as we get older, everywhere we go we meet new friends, don't give up just enjoy
