More than one size of single DIN?
I brought a radio for my Midget and a fiberglass radio console from ebay but the radio is too long (depth) and doesnt fit in properly. I have seen
loads of modern radios fitted in these fiberglass consoles.
Is there more than one size of single DIN?
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

Yes, din refers only to width and height. On some cars where there isn't enough depth you need a filler. It means the stereo sticks out of the
dash though.
