Blimey! (Ipod touch)

Got myself an Ipod touch (otherwise known as a very expensive mp3 player!!)...

Attached it to my computer and now Apple want £6 to update it to the latest Ipod software.

Cheeks little gits. I thought paying £200 for an Ipod was bad enough...... (well it would have been if I had but in fact I got it free with my mobile phone- but still......).

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

It is a bit of a con, when I first bought mine I updated it, I had to pay to update it for a couple of small upgrades (didnt mind so much as I saved almost £100 by waiting for the right one to come up on ebay).

Then a couple of months later they release an upgrade for half the price which includes the previous upgrade!

If you know where to look you can download the upgrades for free.

why don't you jail break your i-pod, you then wont have to pay the six pounds. I have done it to my i-phone and i think as long as you follow the instructions carefully then all should be ok. It will however invalidate your warranty.
