RIP

Spooky though as his name came up in conversation today. I called to see a friend today in the Fury. Another aquaintance was there who, it turns out, used to work for Chevron cars back in the 70's/80's (?) as foreman in the workshop. He said Newman had ordered 3 Can-Am cars (a new venture for Chevron) but refused to pay a cent untill they had raced and while they were waiting for the money the banks pulled the plug.
