Stem Cell Transplant part 2

Well I made it through the super high dose chemotherapy and and am on day +2 after receiving my stem cells back still feel pretty poo though!

I had a bad reaction to the preservative they use for the stem cells but apart from that its just weathering the next week until I start to produce my own white cells and red cells and platelets.

Interestingly its not been thinking about the 7 which has kept me going but converting my rover 216 to hillclimb spec?? Oh well what ever grabs your knackers!!

Not a lot you can say other than all the best & hope it goes as well as you could hope - just look for the light at the end of the tunnel.

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

I find obsessing over the car keeps a lot of unhealthy thoughts away!! It's great you can get on here and see what's up though.

As above with the best wishes. Can't be easy or nice.

I have a Golf VR6 that would be perfect to convert to a track car. Quite fancy sprints and hillclimbs but would probably never get round to it at the moment. May look again when the kids leave home.

Liam - we U2U'd some time ago. Are you keeping a track of your white cell count? Presumably you're stuck in isolation until that picks up.

I seem to remember them saying the preservative would smell like cabbage - seemed more like raw meat to me, but then again I was pretty well worn out by it all.
