what is the average running temp of a pinto engine?

EDIT: as was talking bollocks.
According to Blue Haynes 0903:
Thermostat fully open is 88degrees C
Opening temp is 85 to 89 degree C.
Makes me wonder if its a mistake to use a 92-96degree fan switch! hmmm.

Dunno, just wondered if the fan kick-in temp should be closer to the thermostat temp ie. lower.
Presumably it will all settle at the highest switch, ie. the 92-96 degree fan switch.
Is that too hot for a Pinto? I wonder if it's meant to run at something closer to the thermostat switching temp ie. 85-89 degrees.

In normal running you dont want the fan switch kicking in so to me that looks fine as it is - ie the thermostat should hopefully get the temperature
up to 88degC and then it will settle in the 88degC to 94degC range during normal running.
Personally i'd say it may even be slightly too close really but if its working fine and the fan isnt kicking in al the time while driving
(rather than stuck in traffic) then i'd be happy with that.
