I watched that.
The government can't even get a NHS computer system to work (cost millions), or the Foriegn office computer system to work, or keep hold of our
own data.......
THEY have caused more security breaches with computers than terrorists have!
By the time the system is built, it will be out of date already. Haven't they heard about encryption? No "buzz" words will show up
in an encrypted email.
Don't worry, it will never happen because it will become another "good idea" that costs millions and doesn't work too

I'm beginning to think 1984 was maybe a bit early we're heading towards the same regime but more like 2014.
The Police are given anti-terror powers and then you're local council are using the same laws to put surveilance teams on householders who
aren't segregating their recycling bin stuff properly. It's all going a bit mad.
"For evil to prosper it simply requires that good men do nothing" - seems very apt.
We've got to get rid of this bunch of idiots and change our approach to the whole terrorism problem.

Where the Government is concerned IT stands for Ignorant Twats, because they sure have no idea how it should work, which puts them on a par with me,
but at least I admit it, Ray

More than that, it won't happen because they'll be voted out in the next election.
People say that incompetance is their biggest problem. I say it's 42 days, Compulsary ID cards, DNA databases and logging of all phone calls,
emails and website accesses.

This government are hypocritical control freaks - "do what I say, ignore what I do" is their motto.

They know what we're all thinking anyway. The London Eye is infact a giant thought collector, that's why it's so close to MI6.... It
only serves the South, the Angel of the North is the thought antenna for up norf. I've got my tinfoil hat on as I type though
Only joking but you know they would do if they bloody could!!!!
Anyway, if they got the information they'd only loose it or sell it off to interested parties "in the name of fighting terrorism". I
can hear the excuses already...
"we only give access to the full transcript to parties involved in fighting terrorism. However, other crimes fund terrorism so we've given
full access to anybody who might be find it useful". Hell, they do it already with the DVLA database, why wouldn't they do it with all the
other information they've got on you/me.
If only they used the information to good use. Maybe on your birthday they could send you a present. Just imagine:
"Dear Resident of the New United Kingdom,
In order to celebrate your re-birth as a new citizen of our wonderful order we have sent you a present. Based upon your website viewing habits we have
got you this DVD. The plot mostly revolves around cars, nudity and karaoke (but only on Fridays). Happy re-birthday.
Unfortunately, you have been saying inappropriate things about our wonderful leader being "a gimp". The thought reprocessing team will
come round to your house tommorow for synapse realignment procedures."

I think that all of the security services are getting lazy.
You cannot run everything by computer.
Even my bosses think that if they send an email, then the job they are talking about is done. They forget that the people who have to get their hands
dirty.
If the police actually got out of their cars (and we get rid of the pretend police) and talked to people, they would find out much more about what
was going on.
When was the last time you saw a beat copper in your street?
