at one point in the show they did use the word 'pikey'.

As far as I remember ITV got slated for using the same word during the canadian grand prix - perhaps it has been pulled in order to edit the show

I wouldn't be surpised if they had some complaints about Clarkson's 'murder a prostitute' comments in the truck driving bit.

Personally I didn't think it was a very good episode. Hope it improves!

Opinions differ - I actually enjoyed it, but perhaps that just reflects that the only thing I can tolerate on TV is Top Gear and Bremner Bird.
I'm aware (however) that the brainless g%% (JC) is going to present something soon that doesn't put motorcycles in a good light.... which I can never understand.... I'll just fume in the corner.

Clarkson: I therefore hated my experience of motorcycling and would not recommend it to anyone.

Brilliant stuff, and so true. For instance - " In fact, it takes only half a litre of fuel to get from your house to the scene of your first fatal accident. Which means that the lifetime cost of running your new bike is just 50p."
