sony CD player
ok, a long shot I know but ....
I have an old Sony CD player, first one I bought, and it playsworks fine but the draw does not want to open. Pressing eject button, the motor makes a
noise but draw does not pop out.
I have had a look inside it but cannot figure out what is prevening this from working. Not sure if it is mechanical i.e. worn gear, loose belt (if
fitted) or electrical.
Draweer was opening and closing fine when it was the main player but had not been used for quite a few years.
Any ideas?
(it is worth FA so no point taking it to ye olde CD repayre shoppe; looking to selling on ebay but obviously it will fetch a bit more if the drawer
works)

Bin it and buy a new one, the latest one are only a 100 quid!
