Mini rant
I got a call on my cell...number said anonymous....I though may be important I'll answer anyway....I get a recording saying "please hold
for the next available representative"......
At which point I terminated the call in disgust.
I was fuming
So they waste my time, and my money on the call and can't even have a real person there to do it....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Feel better now

Hey, dont knock new MINIs. The older supercharged Cooper S's are great fun to drive if you can get over the fashionable image.

At least you actually got as much as a message, I used to get calls with no-one on the other end of the line. Always from the same number. One day
I hung up about 5 times, Then on the 6th I answered it and there was actually someone on the other end of the line. Well needless to say they hung
up on me that time.
Turns out it was the halifax of all people!

The new mini is great to drive. I've got a BRG cooper and it is great fun, bit underpowered though needs a turbo or S supercharger.

'03 MCS is my daily driver. Suprisingly quick around the corners and in a straight line for a FWD hatch. They win best Hot Hatch awards
consistently for a reason

David - Oh come on though...That remake! Perhaps more Minis might have improved it!
Having said that, I'd well have a supercharged one
Sorry Alan - I've completely sideracked your thread!

Yes the film was rubbish!
Sorry Alan!
Sounds like a totally pointless call to me. Obviously coming through an automated cold calling service. A badly organised one as well by the sound of
it!

Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

unless you have an unlimited call plan, you pay per minute to receive and make calls and you pay to send and receive texts.

Yeah, as Paul says unless you have unlimited minutes you have a set number of minutes and calls in or out use up the time. Most plans are in a
specific network and those calls are unlimited, family members for example, also calls outside peak time (evenings and weekends) are usually unlimited
too.
