are you sure you've got that right?
hard drive DVD recorder? its either one or the other
If your after a freeview hard drive tv recorder then cheap simple ones can be bought from Asda etc for about £80 but can be limited in their features.
All are very easy to set up as they do it automatically.

It is possible to find a HDD/DVD recorder, the one with the best reviews seems to be the panasonic make, the only reason i didnt go for a panasonic
was the fact they only make single tuner digital reception models.
After my searching here linky
I just need a DVD recorder to scart to so i'll be interested on suggestions too

Just bought my nan a humax 9150. its got twin tuners, pic in pic, pause and rewind live tv etc.
really simple to use, well it must be, my nan is 84!!
sadly no dvd player in it, but personaaly i think its more user freindly than my sky+ box!
who says you can't drive a kit car when you're 6'5"?

Just so its clear.I want to record tv to the hard drive and then be able to burn them onto a dvd disc if required. Its what I call a hard drive dvd
recorder,perhaps I am wrong.
