Grrrr!
Driven about 100 miles in heavy snow today, on icy roads. 3 things have annoyed me very much.
1. People driving at 10mph on straight roads
2. People tailgating me on ice
3. People driving with their fog lights on.

Hangings too good for 'em!!!
I've sworn not to kill another living thing (unless it iritates me in some way) but the next t*ss*r that dazzles me with their fookin fog lights
is going to feel my ENORMOUS Volvo in their front grille.
I'm fed up with it, I'm sure some of them just haven't looked at the dash since the last time it was"misty" but most of
'em are doing it to annoy me and I'm about to snap...
Cheers
Chris
Note to all: I really don't know when to leave well alone. I tried to get clever with the mods, then when they gave me a lifeline to see the
error of my ways, I tried to incite more trouble via u2u. So now I'm banned, never to return again. They should have done it years ago!

I think fog lamp telltails should be in the main cluster along with main beam, indicators et.al. it just gives the inattentive numpties another
reason to forget.
For some reason Ford seem to think it's fine to hide them under the switch low on the right of the steering wheel where you can't actually
see them while driving.
For tailgaters on ice I dab the brake just enough to switch on the brake lights which makes most of the back off.

It also started snowing in Godstone late afternoon, now snowing here in Walton Mountain -on- Thames.
Settling on cars, but melting on the paths and roads.... just hope it doesn't freeze tonight......

Rained this morning and snowed on the top, so its just solid ice here now.
Tried the dabbing the brakes for tailgaters. I think I am going to keep half a brick in the car and chuck it out of the sunroof the next time someone
tailgates me.....
People with front fog lights get blinded with my xenons where ever possible.

those people driving at 10 mph on straight roads p*ss me off!
i was coming down the a1 the other day and everyone slowed to 40 cause there was a gritter, then some fool decided to let out the t*at who was sitting
on the gritters a*se so we ended up going even slower past the gritter, so the car got a healthy drawn out blasting of grit
it wasnt even icy and there was no snow.
ps. tailgaiters p*ss me off.

Same for me this evening - busy day, knackered, wanting my dinner. Get to my car and it was snowing a bit... nothing to worry about as it was about
+4 degrees C. Visibility would have been worse if it had been raining hard.
So every dear little wifey who's gone to get their hubby from the station is driving at 20mph on a 60mph road!

When I'm on my own and in my crappy 1.6 punto, tailgaiters should not approach.
I like to see how good their reflexes are and actually slam on the brakes until I really slow down.
Ii does make me laugh as they get narked, swear and swerve all over the road.
As for annoying tw*ts who have their rear fogs on, I like to see how long they can last with my full beam hitting them

I think fog lights should have an interlock where when the ignition is switched off they also switch off, so people cannot leave them on for weeks on
end.

We are lucky here in North America. Our idiots only have front fog lights to play with, except the Volvos,Jags, and Mercs. Try the hazzards on
jackasses that get too close (tailgate)

The rear fog light is for getting rid of tailgaiters. Works too. Use it sparingly.

I thought is was already classified as 'driving without due care and attention' if you had your fogs (front or rear) on when not required.
That includes when its foggy but the car behind you is close enough to see you with the rears off. I also seem to remember that its usually deemed
your fault if you run into the back of another car, but you can use the fact that it wasn't obvious that they were braking when you ran into
them, if you can prove they had their fog lights on when not required(because they are the same intensity as the brake lights).
Some of my cars have had the 'no volt release' mechanism (e.g when you turn the ignition off the fogs go off and don't come on again
until you operate the momentary action switch again). If this was standard it would at least mean the fogs aren't on 2 weeks after the last
fog!

My old Toyota Carina and Corolla both had that feature as standard.
