Whatever happened to the K1 Attack
What happened to K1?
I remember a couple of years ago when they brought out the Attack there was alot of talk about it, firstly because of its looks (i still think its one
of the best looking kitcars) and secondly because of the questionable engineering behind it. A few people had been digging about and it looked as
though they had made the car look great and quick in a straight line but would struggle when it got to corners.
Did a quick google and there is a dutch company selling turn key cars for over 100,000 euros. I think the original kit price was around £10,000 -
£15,000. Also there is a thread on piston heads from over a year ago about someone who bought a kit from the manufacturer (in slovenia i think). She
ordered RHD and when it turned up it was LHD. After that she could never get in contact with the factory.
It seems they have gone under, shame really as someone could take the moulds, modify an existing chassis without too much work and produce a very nice
kit.
Personally i love the exposed dampers through the bonnet.

A friend of mine has his in the bodyshop at the mo, just being finished off. Should be in for SVA as paperwork is in progress.
Its a lovely looking car but the budget is certainly not locost.

Did he manage to get a RHD one and did he have any problems getting bits from the factory or did it arrive complete in one package.
Im guessing being in the bodyshop they need a bit of fettling to get the fit right, or is just being sprayed.
