The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die Album
Just thought I'd let you know - I just got their latest CD.
If you're around the late 30's to mid-40's and liked them in their hay-day - you ought to check out this new Album. It truly is
amazing...

It's funny. I've always been a hard core rock/metal fan. Could never, and still can't, stand dance music.
Yet, I was so impressed by the Prodigy back in the day that I bought one of their albums (Fat of the land). I guess it's the rock/punk infuences
they have which I pick up on?

I loved The Prodigy back in the day but I heard and watched the video to Invaders Must Die a while back and didn't really like it. It kind of
lacked the aggression or speed of the traditional stuff. Are there other songs on it better than this one cos I might buy it.

Yeah, cracking album, it's all gone 1990s again (I'm 39 BTW)
On other band related news, I've just bought tickets to see Orbital in september, I've always regretted not seeing them live when I had
the chance years ago and when they retired I was sick ;( I'm excited already

the lead singer used to have reeeeaaally spikey hair, well i used to race bikes in same championship as him, his hair didn.t hold up too well when he
took his lid off, IIRC he used to race a VERY nice ducati, he was quick too,
ah those were the days,

We too (me and Steve) are going to see them in April Also agree that Pendulums remix of Voodoo People is better than the original version

Both great tracks, one of my personal favourites was Poison.
Like someone else who posted above, I've always been more into hard rock and metal, but always have a Prodigy CD in my car! Amazon will be
getting some of my hard earned for this album tonight.

Was going to mention Pendulum an forgot. I bought 'In Silico' which is a great album, but tried listening to their earlier album and
hated it, far too hardcore drum n bass for me.

Ahhh - that's interesting, we love the first album and thought the second one was a bit of a let down .... but we like hardcore Drum and Bass
Hellfire, seen Pendulum live and DJ sets around 6-7 times now, they are truely awesome live, glad to see there's some other Pendulum lovers on
here
And yes, liking the new Prodigy album too - those old guys rock (says me at 41 )
And Pendulums voodoo people is one of my all time favorite tracks and vids, check it out if you've not heard it before:

I'm the other way round, Pendulum started out OK and then went a bit emo I'm sure i've read an interview somewhere where they
basically admitted they've never actually been into d'n'b all that much, they were originally a crap indie band and saw
d'n'b as an easy way into getting a name. They appear to be slowly morphing back...
Charly made the number plate fall off on my car Biggest sub I could afford at 18 and a plastic bootlid (Citroen AX) don't mix
