Revenue cameras!
Just got my first speeding ticket after 13 years...
41 in a 30 zone. Anyone know what that means? I'm thinking I'm pretty safe as regards a ban, but I'm wondering if this will be 3
or 6 points or how those points would affect insurance?
Was a dual carriageway coming into town, went from 50 to 30 and I didn't see the sign. Arse.

3 points and a £60 fine I would think. Can't comment on insurance, but you can guarantee it won't help!

From what i've heard 3 points £60 fine unless you got caught in an area with the new "driving safety course" where you go on a
course for a bit more money but end up with no points so it doesnt affect insurance.

3pts £60 fine as long as you are not going over 20mph over the speed limit. I think it's 6pts and a fine for 20-30 and over thirty your looking
at a ban unless you can persuade them otherwise.
Insurance wise mine didn't jump up much at all when I got my points, it's too much of a common thing nowadays.
If disfunction is a function, then I must be some kind of genius.

no danger of a ban, they want you to keep paying fines!

Usually the stupid driving courses are offered only to minor limit infractions (just over ACPO thresholds). Unlikely to get offered a course at 41 in
a 30 unfortunately.
The good news is that a single SP30 on your licence usually has either no impact or only a small increase in insurance premium.
