digicam probs

yet again the techno gremlins strike at me.
tried to download some pics from my camera and the message coming up says there are no pics on the card,tried it with the cable and card reader with the same results,i can see the pics in my camera so they are there,likely to be he sd card?

even just looking at the folder through explorer?

It is possible on some cameras for the pics taken to go straight to the cameras own small memory,maybe SD card ws not in the camera properly or has a fault.

managed to get it to load,think bob was right there....trouble now is,they have opened in a page/format i have never seen before and cant seem to send them to an album to upload to a site...I HATE THESE THINGS

Try downloading and installing Google Picasa 3 then importing with it.

ive found them in picasa
now i want to upload a pic to a site similar to what we do on here.
click browse/picasa and it goes to the whole album,some 400 pics,i cant get it to open and let me chose the pic i want to upload.
if i click onto "kodak easyshare" it tells me there is a problem and wont work,plugging the camera in should get an acknowledgment that something is connected...no such message,sd card in reader says nowt on the card even tho i transfered from internal to card.
if i do a re-install will i loose all my pics or are they safe in picasa?

I have came accross this before I think the problem might be related to the number of pictures in one directory --- your computer is using up all its resources creating thumbnails for all 400 pictures.

deleted the kodak prog and tried to reinstall,says there is a problem so unable to install prog...i hate this kin thing
