I Think I've just bought from an ebay numpty

Just recieved this message from a seller after paypal'ing him the money:

Many thanks for your purchase, the cover will be posted to you in Sheffield as soon as payment has cleared through Paypal, best regards.

The paypal status is unclaimed..

Payment To:
XXXXXX@tiscal.co.uk (The recipient of this payment is Unregistered)
Seller's ID:
XXXXXX
Seller's Email:
XXXXXX@tiscal.co.uk

I know I can claim the money back at the click of a button untill they claim it.... Just annoys me when people can't or wont read the guidelines and do things properly, then send messages indicating they are just going to sit and wait for something to happen.

Yes I've mailled them to state they need to act.....

seems he's given you the wrong email address for pay pal, no worries, it happens. he just needs to send you the correct address.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I've had similar a couple or more times. I think it's a manifestation of automated systems slightly out of sync.
