St Ives is always nice to spend a day in (bit biased, my family all come from there!). The Seafood Cafe on Fore Street in St Ives is lovely for lunch or dinner, and if you want a Pasty, make sure you try Philps in Hayle, best around! There are some great walks along the coast if you want to get out with the dog, any newsagents / bookshop down there will sell you a book of walks. Falmouth is nice to spend a day in, then there's Flambards in Helston, the Seal Sanctuary in Gweek, Paradise Park and Jeepers in Hayle. I'd avoid Land's End like the plague - very commercial and all a bit tacky.

Hope that helps

Cheers

Adrian

The Tate St Ives is very good if your taste in art runs to the more contemporary. Marmite though you'll love it or hate it.

On route I'd like to try the Haynes International Motor Museum near Yeovil, or maybe a day trip to the National Trust property Finch Forge, near Oakhampton, the last working forge of it's type in the UK.

You MUST drive the B road (B3306) that goes along the coast from St Ives to Cape Cornwall via Zennor. Do it about 7-8pm on a sunny evening.
The sun across the sea, and the scenery are lovely.
Its a good twisty road, and a beautiful evening drive.
best thing is the entrance fee is FREE

Even better if you are driving a Se7en.

Have a good holiday... Its a lovely area, and I'll be down there in a few weeks time.
I will drive that road, as Its a bit of a pilgrimage for me!

The Minnack Theatre is worth every penny - it's usually about £7.50 a ticket for a performance. And it's not far from St Ives.

It's an outdoor theatre, carved into the cliff top with lovely views of the sea and coastline as well as whatever's going on on the stage. If you go to see a show arrive early and take a picnic - great stuff!
