AC Upgrade?
My sister has a 2000 Yaris but wants to sell it and buy another one, exactly the same but with air con.
I told her that would be a waste of money so i was wondering if anyone knew of any aftermarket AC systems?
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

I think your suster has the right idea. Got to be cheaper and far far easier just to get a car with it fitted as standard.
Probably won't actually 'cost' very much at all.

From my experience, which is admittedly limited, you'll be looking at a significant dismantling job to get the new bits in and fed through into
the cabin. I'd file it under "do it cos you want to do it" rather than "do it cos you want it done" if that makes
sense.
Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead is purely coincidental. Some assembly required. Batteries not included. Contents may settle during
shipment. Use only as directed. No other warranty expressed or implied. Do not use while operating a motor vehicle or heavy equipment. Subject to
approval, terms and conditions apply. Apply only to affected area. For recreational use only. All models over 18 years of age. No user-serviceable
parts inside. Subject to change. As seen on TV. One size fits all. May contain nuts. Slippery when wet. For office use only. Edited for television.
Keep cool; process promptly.

Toyota used to sell aircon kits for various models - might be worth asking to see if they do a kit for that car - might cost less than the change to
the other car?
"That thing you're thinking - it wont be that."

If her yaris is in good nick and she can do without a car for a week or two, get her to sell her car privately and then buy a similar one with AC. On
a 9 year old car, she might get one for the same price as she sells.

the holes are already there for the pipe work coming into the bulkhead. TBH is it worth the hassle as you will have to take the complete dash out
aswell as the main heater system! its not an easy job. als there the pipe work, pump and condesor under the bonnet.
Sell it. much easier except for the time waster! now they are hard work.

Thought you were going to supercharge a Cobra...!
