Wheatstone Bridge A/D output

I'm working on a locost project to enable enthusiasts to setup their competition car suspension cheaply.

An issue is to measure each corner of the car and adjust the suspension accordingly.

! have used a device called "rugglescales" sucessfully which in effect acts as a load divider to allow common mechanical bathroom scales to be used to measure the weight on each wheel. Adjustment is then according to each racers pet algorithm.

These mechanical scales are not too easy to read with repeatable accuracy, especially for non technicians, but the electronic versions have auto off function and auto zero functions which make them unusable.

Bearing in mind the locost aspects is there an intigrated circuit available which can take the output from the bathroom scale wheatstone bridge, amplify and a/d it?

Is there then a further IC and programme to log the output in real time to Excel for further analysis?

I may sound picky here but a lot of laptops dont have serial ports so it would have to be USB.Also when I was at College FET's were the cutting edge! So it needs to be reasonably straightforward

Options.
Get somthing like this Microchip development PCB LINKY
You will need a OP-AMP to amplify the Bridge sensor. Alot of work envolved to get it working.

Or search Google for a USB Data logger with a bridge input. (Generally not cheap)

never heqard of rugglescales so don;t know how they work but presumably you cannot use a pressure transducer and plonk one under each wheel?

How about something like -

Quantum Tunnelling Compound Pills LINKY

run though an OpAmp into a

K8047: 4 Channel Recorder / Logger Kit LINKY

I have used the K8047 for my electronic vacuum gauges with some success
