Air Con servicing
what are you guys paying for an air con service ?
I have never had one done before and at £90 feel like i had my pants pulled down and my arse smacked

£45 and that was when it first got hot earlier this year.
Looked like a back street outfit but did a really good job, propper brass monkey cold now. Pitty it screws my fuel consumption.

wouldnt touch em for tyres or exhausts but do a first class job on regas £45.00 inc.

You can get refill kits with cans of the refrigerant from halfrauds or similar.
I've not got any personal experience of these though so I don't know if they're any good or not but are probably cheaper...
Last time I needed it doing I paid and got reamed for the thick end of £100

The equipment they used was fully automatic and would only complete the regas provided the system checks were ok.Itys been three months now and still

Apparently contains stuff that contaminates the gas and causes problems . Service center should test for contamination before connecting A.C machine
and refuse to service if found to be contaminated. The laws covering A.C . change a month or so ago and refill kits are now illegal

Well I aint making it up mate, after 2 hours it was warm again - it was ice cold for the drive home and that was it. So they had cocked somthing up.

Had mine done today. £39.99 + vat. Cracking little machine did it. Garage doesnt charge if the vacuum test fails.
