I've said this before, but I wonder on a like for like basis how many seconds that would shave off my cycle to work compared to my £80 rustyheap.

OK mate, you've won me over, I'll lend you £22k.

No bugger it, you can have £25k and get some nice dust caps to finish her off.

Now all I need is your bank details, address, credit card number etc etc, so I can transfer the money

rough guesstimate 10%

if it meant coming first and taking home € 100 K or fifth and getting € 2 k plus cuddly bear, then it is money well spent don't ya think?

I bet the TDF bikes cost about 1/5 of that one (just a guess).

The bike is more for the all-the-gear-no idea-loads-of-money-totally-unfit brigade.

I mean, why do people buy a £ 40 k caterham or £ 100 k porsche when a mini metro does the same plus more?

i always thought the p4 was expensive at 8k! the cycling world love exotic materials, and big price tags! you can spend £50 on a carbon fibre bottle holder if you fancy it!

away from cars, now cycling and building TT bikes
