Single Garages & Gas boilers? Safety??

New house, single attached garage.

On the left side wall looking in we have the gas main inlet pipe and meter coming up the left wall.

Happy with that there, it's getting decent timber batons either side and boxed, with a ply box affair over the meter to protect it all.

Right hand side far corner, is the gas central heating boiler on the garage outside right hand wall , it's a balanced flue thing so I understand draws and vents to the outside?

I am busy putting a bench and storage vice, grinder etc , can I box in the boiler without causing flu , carbon mono issues ?

Not happy with a pilot light in my garage, but I only do the odd bit of spray tin painting, with no plans to go into big spray jobs.

Is the boilers presence something to be concerned with ?

If a balanced flue room sealed appliance should be no problem being in your garage either from flue gas or you spraying or at least no more than from the lighting etc, if you want to box it in check fitting instructions for minimum clearances as most able to be fitted in cupboards etc

Ive got the boiler type instruction manual somewhere, see what that says..

Will check to make sure its a balanced flue jobby before I start spraying fumes everywhere.
