OT Renting out a property...
Does the property need to have a bathroom/shower

Yes also needs electric fan in bathroom and kitchen and pat testing of any electrical stuff if res property, and heating. Ask local housing dep if u
want to make sure. But it's better to stay away from them cos at least in my area nobody seems to comply with their regulations unless
they're unlucky enough to get checked up on. Also I suppose it varies a lot from council to council. Stay away from dhss tenants if you want
to avoid a visit.

Thanks ps if u want pat testing I can do it as well as periodic testing.

but social services clients always pay the rent because you get paid directly from the government... makes up for a lot.

tenants get housing benefit not the landlord these days ,so no guarantee of getting paid if you get a mouth breather for a tenant
