One of these held it for a while.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

The ultima accelarated a lot quicker but the Cateringvan braked better, makes sense as it is half the weight.

they were gonna try 0-200-0 but rain stopped play
I read the other day that the new ford gt (40) has been tested and achieved 205mph, making it the fastest ever production ford.
McLaren have also got the go ahead to use Dunsfold Aerodrome (where top gear is filmed) as a test track for training owners of the new mclaren
mercedes supercar, before taking delivery.

I wanna try an emergency stop from 200mph in an SLR. It looks like fun
That's a very very powerful n/a V8 though! I didn't realise you could get quite that much out of an SBC!

Imagen how much it would cost for a new set of discs on a mclaren mercedes!
It cost £25,000 to service a mclaren F1!! Nothing compared to the £600,000 it cost to begin with. In my life I have sat in 2 mclaren F1s and seen
Rowan Attkinson's F1. He came to watch a match at our school which his son was playing in, Purplw, what a colour. The 2 I have sat in belonged
to one of my friends dad's, Archie Hamilton whose dad is a classic and performance car dealer : http://www.duncanhamilton.com. The passanger
seats are very uncomfortable.

Git!
I've only seen one in the flesh (a race one at Goodwood) but it was the only car there you couldn't get near.
Don't tell me you've sat in that GTR one that DuncanHamilton are selling?
Does it even have a passenger seat?
I've been drooling over it since I saw that advert linked elsewhere. Have tried convincing my parents that it'd be worth selling the house
to afford it but no luck yet!

No, not the one he is selling but he did have another one at one time, he wouldn't let me or Archie anywhere near it, worth to much. I also sat
in an XJ220.

Got knows how much the SLR's disks and pads cost to replace.
I know the Porsche PCCB disks cost £25,000 to replace and the SLR's brakes are more advanced still...

I overtook an xj220 coming back from town the other day, and I was on my pushbike going uphill . It did look like it was going to rain though, so I
was in a hurry. The most exotic thing I've ever sat in is the jacuzzi at Butlins' waterworld so I'll get me coat.

Sat in a DeLorean. Does this count for anything?
If a bolt is stuck force it.
If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway!!!

I have been allowed in the same room as the Jag Duncan Hamilton won the Le Mans in in 1952, that is an honour. It is the one that the stig mashed up
on Top Gear just I saw it before it was broken. The room has a special machine that keeps the humidity and temperature right so it doesn't
rot .

It was reported that it had been driven hard and without a great deal of respect by members of the Top Gear team when on loan to them. Pretty sure
there was no body damage, just that the mechanicals needed soem work afterwards.
Personally, I would have thought it obvious that Top Gear would thrash any car they borrow, but maybe respect was expected for the age of the Jag but
not given.
