Grand-son arrived..
Well 2 weeks late but finally he's here.
Poor chap had a rough entre into the world but he was in the right place. The young parents were very concerned seeing him turn blue but the staff at
the RUH were ready for any thing. Those guys (and girls) are AMAZING..
So Michael-Lee Andrew arrived at 1;11pm and hit the scales at 8lb 8oz and 57cm long, WOW.. His sister (13 months old now) was 5lb 11oz and a tiny 46cm
long.
Been a long day but worth it. Parents are already back home with there new born son..

They do a great job mate. I guess seeing it day in and day out to them it's normal, along with the rubbing and flicking the legs up.
I think they had 4 mid-wifes and 4 other people in the delivery room to help out.
Under paid and over worked.. I take my hat off to them..

Congrats!
As said, 'Blue Baby' is not uncommon, my youngest was blue as a blue thing, he's now 21 and 6' 6" tall!
Best wishes to all concerned
It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Congrats - hope mum and baby are doing well!
One of our twins was a bluey on arrival and had me fretting for a while (SWMBO was busy having the 2nd one). You're spot on about the quality
of care though - I couldn't thank them enough!

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
