Fitting new cooker hood.
I'm having to replace a broken cooker hood. The old one came with a 3 pin plug and just plugged into a socket, but the new one says it should be
wired via a double pole switched fused spur outlet.
Would it be unsafe / wrong to add a 3 pin plug to the new hood and just plug it in like the old one?

will be ok. but failing that take off the socket front (if its a single) and fit a fsu, wire the flex in,and away you go!

All this 'double pole switched fused spur outlet. ' is part of the H&S bull.
3 pin socket is OK.

Thanks for the replies.
I thought it would be OK but thought I'd double check as I'm not a spark but can wire a plug
