Autograss websites!

I’m getting rather interested in autograss at the moment. Does anyone know any websites that may be of use, I’m after build sites rather than the regs!

Cheers gents

Thom

Hi,
I race a class 9 (the same as NS Dev does I think). If you are after build info, it tends to be a bit scarce. There are a couple of builders out there but they tend to be smallish operations and there isn't too much detail shared.
The NASA (governing body) website has links to most local clubs and finding your local club would be a good start as people tend to be friendly and informative ( www.national-autograss.co.uk ) or the Yorkshire Dales website has a forum where lots of people across the whole of the sport visit ( http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mk-motors/ydindex.htm ).
If you are after advice from a commercial builder then you could do worse than www.drdracing.co.uk
If you have any specific questions u2u and I'll try to help.
HTH Richard

Yea, plenty of autograss out cambs way, you won't be short of meetings.

what sort of car were you thinking of racing, open/closed wheel and what sort of performance level, there are many classes to suit all levels.

Club level (as opposed to national level) class 9 is no bad place to start (its what I started off with) you quickly learn a lot about car control, and you can build what is a pretty quick car on a limited budget (to do a replica of mine, not that you would want to necessarily, would cost you around 2 grand)

if you need to know anything U2U me!

You can see the "Stretham Raceway" grasstrack circuit from the road on the A10 just south of Stretham.

Here it is from the sky
