Removing scratchs from Windows
Was doing a bit of light sanding with a disc sander at the weekend. Moved it out of my line of site to see my handy work. Next thing i know i have
lightly sanded the bl***y front window!
Thought i may get away with it. But no eagle eyed swmbo had it spotted straight away. Got the usual lecture, dont know what she said though as i had
turned on the selective hearing.
So what i would like to know is can light scratchs be easily removed.
If i dont come up with a fix i have to buy a new window.
Thanks
Nige

Front house window or car type window? House windows may be able to be repaired with something like fish tank sealant ala windscreen repair man
stylee. Car windows are laminated and may be doable in the same way. All depends upon how "lightly" you've done it!

Autoglass and the like will have a bash at it for a price or you could have a dab with an electric buffer and cutting compound i.e. T Cut. My Dad
tried this and it made a slight improvement but his was scratched quite badly. Tried scrapng the ice off with the bottom of his cup?? Deserves all he
got there!!

If it's light scratches, toothpaste on a dremel buffing disk will work... or on a duster with loads of elbow grease.
