Nostalgic Can-Am Series DVD
I was pleasantly surprised yesterday to receive an early and unexpected Christmas gift from Stan Lobitz (collector of early midgets and other short
track vehicles from Pennsylvania, USA) featuring the Polish Racing Drivers of America.
The DVD is co-narrated by Oscar Koveleski driver of the #54 Mclaren M8B depicted in the 1970 races of the series at Road Atlanta, Ohio, Riverside and
elswhere. The disk is made-up of old super-8mm flim shot by friends and acquaintances.
A special section features the first Road Atlanta appearance in 1970 of the Can-Am series at that then brand new facility.
For those who keep racing libraries this is a relatively inexpensive item to add to a collection.
Little cars, big engines and high speeds!
