to be honest they handle ok. I've heard loads of stories of people smashing them up but i think they stick to road really well.

In that case I'd suggest it may be one of those 'sticking like glue, sticking like glue, sticking like glue, oh sh*t, oh sh*t' handling situations where you get no warning of the impending spin it just goes suddenly.

Always had a soft spot for Clio v6, especially the mk1. If i had some more cash i think there would be one on the drive as we speak.

I think that a lot of the reputation the Clio has is just down to numpty drivers who are just used to driving late 90's FWD hot hatches that just dont respect the middy layout enough.

On the plus side....if you think about it nearly all the best 'drivers cars' have a bit of a reputation for biting you in the ass....205, NSX to name but a couple
