Earthquake! Take cover!

blimey, only had an earthquake this morning, shook the house like a rag doll!
4.7 so quite a big one by UK standards, got the fire brigade a few doors down making chimney pots safe.
Can't believe my garage didn't fall down, it been on the brink of self destruction for years but its still there! BUGGAR.

Can't you go outside and lean on it a bit? You can then say to the insurance people "it was weakened by the quake, it was OK yesterday!"

the whole town of folkestone had a total power blackout yet the tunnel trains were still running, a friend of mine is one of the drivers, he said they just diverted power from the French end of the tunnel, maybe we should all do that! Free leccy!

im up in hawkinge, it didnt seem that bad to me.

a few things fell off the wall (pics/clocks) other than that nothing else, just felt like a very low flying jet.

tryed to go to tesco but there was mass painic, anything and everything was sold out, anyone would think it was the end of the world
