Hotel in Leeds??
As the title really.
My 2 year old has an appointment at Jimmy's Hospital at stupid-o'clock on Friday morning so rather than get ourselves up just before we go
to bed, we thought we'd have an overnighter in Leeds!
Any suggestions? Cheap is good! And close(ish) to St James.

There's the ETAP hotel:
Aparently its a bit like student halls i.e a bit basic but its only £32 a night for a room for 2 or 3 people and its about 2mins in a Taxi away from
Jimmys
(I would recomend a taxi as the parking is a bit on the expencive side)

Hi Mate
I go to Jimmys quite a lot. I can find you somewhere to stay in the Wakefield area. e-mail me if you would like me to help and I will. You can get you
to Jimmys in 15/20 mins from Wakefield.

I live in Leeds so can suggest a few:
1. The Village Hotel in outer Headingley (my personal favourite)
2. The Romada Jarvis at Seacroft
3. The Holiday Inn at Crossgates
All within 15 minutes drive of St.James Hospital.
There are also countless other smaller privately run hotels in the Rounday Park area of Leeds (where Jimmy Saville lives). These are within 5
minute's drive of St.James.
As a person who is always away on business I find that www.Yell.Com is the best way of finding out hotel telephone numbers. So many website nowadays
are just middle men/agents.
OK!!! OK!!!
Just did a search for you:
1. Go to www.Yell.Com
2. Type in "Hotel" near "LS8 4BA"
3. There you go!...
The 1st result is calld "The Adriatic Hotel" - 3 mins from St. James Hospital
Negotiate your price too!
Hope this has been of help
Cheers

He he... I admit, that does look BAD (me having a favourite hotel in the very city I live in) but there's a good reason for that!...
- It has a top notch swimming pool, steam room and gym. I'm lucky enough to get a negotiated work rate.
- Most of my customers stay there when they visit from all over the place
- There's usually some pretty hot totty in the gym / bar
- Quiz night is wee easy and my group usually win several bottles of wine.
- It's about 300 metres from the lock-up / garage where I keep my Velocity so it's useful for showers when I get grubby.
Is that good enough for you all?

i love the village too, im a member at the gym! We might even have been in the steam room together and not known it! scary indeed.
The adriatic is a bit of a dive, harehills isnt exactly a classy area! One of the guest houses on street lane would be fine, IIRC one is called the
beechwood hotel and looks ok from outside.

Hotels around Jimmy's will be a bit sleazy. The village costs a fortune.
Try the Innkeepers at Rothwell. Good value and an excellent carvery.

Try the Hilton, they have an offer on at minute, about £44 for a family room.

Many thanks for all the help folks. I've booked a family room at the Ibis for £45. It's only a couple of inches away on my
A-Z..................
