Are you on about the hub flanges? if so there's enough meat on them to lose a bit in the lathe.
Apologies if thats not what you mean.

if you look at where the tube is welded to you cant make the bit bigger by the bracket so iam feked
it would take me ages to grind it apart and it tuk me ages to get it perfect lol so i think ill have to make a new one

Which driveshafts are you using? IIRC the joints on mine are only 100mm diameter.

you are using bolt on sierra shafts arent you? What alan is saying is there is enough spare material on the outside of the flange to take some off and
make it fit.

Tripod outer joints are smaller and the likes of the mk de-dion will only take tripod (push-in) shafts. Although their diameter escapes me at the
mo.
You could mix and match a tripod outer joint with a lobro inner like the set up on billys if a tripod will go through ok.
Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

Downside will be you'll be missing caliper brackets as they are cast into the outer lobro hub assembly so you would need to buy some caliper
brackets from the likes of gts/mnr(?)
This brings up another problem of what orientation you have weled up the end plates (bolt pattern is rectangular) as the mnr brackets billy bought
won't allow a caliper to be bolted up due to it sitting in the wrong place
It never rains it pours!
If a tripod slips through you can mix and match the inner end with a lobro though

or you could get some ford 25 spline shafts from a std lobro jointed sierra rear end, and cut and shut these with your 28 spline shafts, so keeping
108mm joints at the inner end and 100 mm ones at the outer end
Retro RWD is the way forward...........automotive fabrication, car restoration, sheetmetal work, engine conversion
retro car restoration and tuning

Just realised by ns-dev's post and re-reading yours that your dealing with cossie gear so the mix and match I was refering to was for 25 spline
shafts.
looky

No idea what spline count my push in shafts were, but I manged to change the inner joints to cv joints no problem.
Just removed the tripode unit and the cv's slipped on
Saved changing my rear uprights etc to disks when using a LSD.
You couldn't pwn your way out of a wet paper bag, with "PWN ME!!" written on it, from the "pwned take-away" which originally contained one
portion of chicken tikka pwnsala and the obligatory free pwnpadom.
