Does anyone know about spartan kitcars
Do they use the donor chassis etc so no need for sva etc? Or do u have to sva everything now.

To the best of my knowledge they used the Triumph Herald/Spitfire chassis, in which case, providing the chassis is not significantly modified SVA
would not be necessary.
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator

1980s ones used custom made "chassis" with Cortina mechanicals -- everything from the Cortina was used subframe, squidy back axle
locsation. Really more a collection of bits but together in a crude but strong way than a properly engineerred car.
Having driven one a friend built many years back -- I would never willingly repeat the experience.

I was beaten in a sprint by a shed of one a couple of years ago....
Mind you it was a 4x4 sierra cosworth underneath and the spartan body had just been kind of 'plonked' on to the sierra floor pan by the
looks of it.

Yes --- Cortina springs and the roll axis was close to or might even have been above the cg.
It didn't roll at all ---- really disconcerting.
