Racing at Silverstone

Spent the past 4 days (12th-15th) racing at Silverstone with the Formula Student crew.

Great fun had by all, and our car completed all of the events for a change. Many seem to fail on the 'endurance' event. Unfortunately the 2nd driver in the endurance event slowed down a lot thinking there was a problem with the car, turned out he was just being paranoid, this meant we went over the time limit for the event and didn't get any points rather annoyingly, but we only just missed out being the fastest of the slow bunch. Still we just went for fun, and i had a great time driving the sprint and the first driver in the endurance events. Albeit rather slow, but considering that it was the first time that any of us had driven the car on tarmac before, I think we did very well.

Heres some piccies:

looks like you had a rubbish time, David - Sure the fact that you're on T-3 days (?) is of no consolation whatsoever...

You should've said, I'd have come up to offer some support! I only live up the road from Silverstone, and not seen any racing since last years Revival.
