Ginetta G26

Any one ever own or work on one of these, i picked one up last night for my father to work at in his retirement, the car is 90% there (in boxes etc), i need a couple of doors for him (mk1 fiesta).

Its pretty cool looking car (when finished it will), i know they not worth big money but a nice car for a nice summers drive.

Hands up here.

I used to have a G26

It was designed by Ginetta when they were still the original company, so has proper kit car heritage.

Unfortunately - it weighs just about and handles about as well as the donor Cortina.

Enjoy

Your right it is heavy, but it'll keep dad away from my car!!!!! He's not much into speed and handling any more, so its perfect for him. The sun roof glass is missing too, is it mk1 fiesta or a cortina sunroof (if there was such a thing)

Fill the hole in the roof and fit aircon if he's after some comfort

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Nah, leave the hole in the roof & use it as a skip
Sorry!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

I thought it looked more like a G4, G10 is uber rare (only 3 made) and had a big V8.
