Human kindness
On the way home from Donny on Saturday, my regulator packed up, fried the battery, exploded most of the cars light bulbs and caused the fuel pump and
clocks to melt down, Grrrrrrr
Whilst sitting on the hard shoulder, with the bonnet off, waiting for the lads to turn round and find me, i counted about 20 kitcars go past, not one
of the buggers could be arsed stopping, some even waved!
Anyhow big thanx go to MarkH who towed me off the motorway, drove about 50 miles to pick up a replacement pump, and then chaperoned me up the M1, in
the dark with no indicators and a motley assortment of lights.
Mark i will never ever take the p#ss out of your crossflow again!
Also thanx to Mark from sheffield,a complete stranger, who gave up 11/2 hours of his time, trying to fix the car, arranged a replacement pump at
6.45pm on a saturday (amazing) and even offered to garage the car overnight if we could'nt fix it. Top bloke.
A mention for the rally team who gave me some wire, and the guy in the 53 chevy pickup (awesome 5.7 litre with twin stage nitrous) who offered help.
Amazing who you can meet in motorway service stations.
After a long and tiring day, my faith in humanity was truly restored, but if your one of those who shot by a stranded lime green locost on the M1
north, then UP YOURS! what goes around comes around.

If a hood went past, you might find most of the spares you needed falling off in the road...!
