Ebay buy-it-now rant
<rant>
Why is it that everytime I try and sell something on e-bay I get a constant stream of messages asking me what my buy-it-now price is?
If I'd wanted to do a buy-it-now, I'd put a buy-it-now button on the auction!
Even when I put the questions on the auction and say 'The is no buy-it-now', I still get the questions

So anyway, what is the "Buy it Now" price???
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

Next time someone asks you tell them what you want for it +50% - if they say ok then get them to paypal you and pull the auction once you've got
the money!
No harm in that. Other than to eBay's profits but hell they make enough money for doing near to feck all anyway. They'll still get their
3.5% ish from the Paypal bit.

It's because people think they can get you to sell it for a lower price than it might reach at auction.

take the absolute minimum you want to sell it for, then double, give them that as a figure.

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

report their emails to ebay, they'll soon get the message when their account gets suspended.

It's hard enough to get ebay to remove dogdy sellers, let alone someone who simply asks a for a BIN price!
