Help with Ebay?

Hi All,

I'm not sure how it works for minimum reserve, hopefully you can explain?

Here's an example:

-Say the seller lists a car with an start price of £2000 and a reserve of £5000.

-At some point, the auction has reached say 4000.

-Then I bid 6000, nobody bids higher and the auction ends.

Will Ebay end the auction just above 4000 and display reserve not met hence the auction failed? Or since I'm willing to pay upto 6000, it will end it at 5000 and I'm the winner? Will it make a difference in practice anyway?

Cheers,

Alex

Your bid will jump to the reserve price automatically when you bid
