Super De-Ruster Solution!!!!!!!!!!!

a rep came in the other day trying to sell some all singing all dancing super de-ruster solution(yeah,yeah)i havent usually got time to entertain reps,but she was pretty fine,and i thought i'd have a tease,after a while i said i wasnt interested,then she offered to leave a FREE sample mixed up in a free vat,well crikey put a small really rusty chunk of I Beam in over the weekend,fu**ing brand new with like a greasy coating all over it so it wont rust again before finishing,i'm goin to put the parts pictured below in tommorow 13/5/08 8am and keep you posted,i'll also give out some free samples when i buy my 50 litre drum next week

The items i'm gonna put in the vat are in my photo archive under VAT TAT

Dunno what the stuff costs but i woudn't add those brakediscs to the stuff..

they are new cheaper then the liquid i guess..

Pure vinegar would take 3 days to clean that, does this stuff smell? The other prob with vinegar and the electrolysis method is the almost instant rusting of the components once dried. The greasy coating sounds ok but then gets in the way of paint.

But at least you can choose when to degrease ready for painting - it's a real pain when it starts rusting after a wash down.

To stop rusting after electrolysis etc I would recommend a phosphoric acid dip.. Not tried but this should phosphate the item, then you shouldn't get surface (flash) rust..

I think this is what the POR-15 metal ready or what ever it's called is, phosphoric acid?

the discs are scrap anyway i used some vented brembo's
by the way all that TAT will be for sale after if anyones interested,plain or powder coated what colour you want

P.S Nearly odourless smells a bit like washing up liquid(not that i'd no being a bloke and all that)
