cheap motorbikes, where from?
Hi all,
my daily comute has now dropped from a 45 mile round trip to about a 3 mile round trip, i have just sold my tin top as it was on its last legs
anyway.
i am thinking that it might be easier and a hell of lot cheaper to get a little 125cc bike instead of replacing the car but I've been watching
beay and they don't seem to be cropping up as much as I would have liked and the auto trader is really poor, can anyone else think of a good
place to look for them.
cheers.

Tell my about it, the only ones that really de-value are the chinese ones which are mostly crap.
Can't bring myself to get any sort of step through as i'm not a teenager.

There are some lovely looking 125's about these days, amazingly even the MZ's don't look bad and from what i have been reading they
are reliable and quick too.
First Skoda and now MZ, what is there left to take the micky out of? For the sake of our humour, somebody please, bring gack lada!

Pardon me for asking but what is wrong with you poeple.
3 MILE ROUND TRIIP~!?!?!!?
unless you are disabled, what is wrong with walking? Take you all of 8 minutes max.
I just don't get it - someone was asking about buying a car for wife who does similar distance to work......
Millions of years of eolution gave us legs so why not use them?
ok, rant over....

don't get me wrong, i'm quite happy to walk and do so at the moment but there will be occasions when i might need or want to travel a
further and on these occasions i will need transport and it seems daft paying out to have a car sat around when i may only need it from time to time.

Bit of an exageration. 3 mile round trip = 1.5 miles each way. 1.5 miles in 8 minutes is 11.25mph. That's some damn long legs! Probably more
like 30 minutes each way at a steady walking pace (3mph).
Still probably quicker than the traffic tho

I would give anything to be able to walk to work.....but 25 miles each way is a bit excessive I think!
