Is your exhaust outlet below 60 cm from the ground?
From the photos it looks a bit high?
(Only a problem if you intend competing in the car MSA "blue book" Section C(b) 22)

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

there appears to be quite a bit cut out around the trans tunnel - is there anything holding the prop at bay should the worst happen?

It looks so right! You've been busy.

One tiny comment - I hate those plastic switches!

Keep up the good work!

Chears all.

The plastic switches may look sh*te but they are cheap and functional!

The exhaust does look much better in real life. Ideally I would have had a custom exhaust created so that the silencer would exit out of the side of the car, sadly funds do not permit. The exit should be pretty much 600mm when the car is on the ground!

There is a solid steel plate between the drivers legs and the prop as well as 5 box section retaining "straps". On top of that there is an ali/fibreglass tunnel. That should offer plenty of protection for most eventualities! (And yes I have seen the pictures of what happens when it goes wrong!)

This is what the bodywork looked like on the origional car:
