Blimey. You blokes are bit hard aren't you. 237 GPs, 13 wins. He even managed a podium in Canada this year driving a Red Bull for god's sake. In a "proper" car he's a proper driver. I really don't think many of you realise quite what the differences are between a Ferrari, a McLaren and the rest.

I would'nt say he was never good, just he wasn't as good as his competitors, but given he was around in the Schumacher era, he didn't have much of a chance.

good luck to him, in whatever his next endeavour is

Seconded, he was no Senna or Schumacher (M not R!!!) but he was better than plenty of others & not the luckiest guy around.

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

I'd consider him pretty lucky if he survived a 4 seater plane crash in witch both the pilots died!

I'd forgotten about that or didin't realise it was so serious that the pilots died.

I've enjoyed watching him over the years and recently I've enjoyed his comments on live tv - his desciption of Massa and how many colours of ***t he was going to beat out him was one of the great moments of F1

"That thing you're thinking - it wont be that."

I like him, makes a change when someone comments on how glad he is to be out there racing instead of bitching about how slow his car is and how its everyone else fault.

He just failed to get the right car!

He had the right car in '98 & '99, however 90% of the time Mika was quicker!

On his day DC could be VERY good, but he couldn't do it consistanty every two weeks.
