Malta or Cyprus sounds like it they might fit the bill.
As you sure being pregnant that she'll be happy with HOT? My missus was complaining about a UK summer being too much heat when she was
expecting.

funnily enough ive just been upstairs talking to her about malta and cyprus!
She will be 20 weeks by then, so not too far along. Maybe south france would be warm enough though.
I suggested skegness but she wasnt on it

go to Ostend in Belguim sea cat from Dover and its a relaxing good time ! local markets are good pubs are good and you should try the chicken shop (
open 24 hr a day 365 days a year and has been for 20 odd years) and you dont have to fly!

egypt is suprisingly cheap actually, but i suspect that would be too hot. Whilst i like european cities, ostend may not be quite what she had in mind!
I do like boats though

another vote for fuertaventura, we went last year and loved it,
hot during the day but cooled off quite a bit night which meant no problems sleeping.
we stayed at the top of the island at corrlejo (sp) reasonably quiet + the sand dunes are mgnificent

Been to Malta too - nice enough but a bit windy......
Not been to fuertaventra but didn't like tenerife (same area I think) as too commercial
Cheers

out of season Mallorca is not too pricy - North of the island Porto Pollensa and inland Pollensa are lovely if warm and chilled is what you want...
If you pay peanuts...

Try the Ile de Re (near la rochelle) in france not really hot but we went in september 2 years ago and had great weather. There are good beaches on
one side of the island and great little ports like saint martin (where we stayed) on the other. Only a 15 min drive from the airport and also only
about 20min into la rochelle.
but if you want it hotter I've had 3 holidays in cyprus also and never had a bad one, always good weather, beaches, food and friendly locals.
Another good one is kefolonia

I'd vote for Egypt as cheap and hot. One of the only holidays I've ever been on where I actually did sod all for a week but v.relaxing.
As above though might be a bit much for the missus.
A few weeks back someone on here was talking about renting out their cottage in France (South of France I think??) We're off in Sept (not to
his but another one) and I reckon weather should be fine, certainly much better than here!

Try to opt for somewhere not in Euro land due to the exchange rate. Turkey or Cyrprus fit this bill.
If you want something quiet with great beaches then I would recommend Thassos in the Greek islands. Goes against my first comment but hey ho!

Aaaah! Kefalonia! Lovely place. Spent a week in Fiskardo. Beautiful. Just avoid the Cockareza (sp!)- lamb kebab just not what most people would think
of as a kebab (lung, heart and liver stuffed into intestines).... It has an unusual flavour.....
Otherwise I'd vote Croatia. Been there 3 times and going again this summer.....

Another vote for fuerteventura - been going for what must have been last 12 years. Great place for chillaxing wth some absolutely magnificent
scenery.
Corralejo is where most people go and is a bit more lively than other places in the island, and at the other end of the island is Jandia which is a
lot quieter but still active.
