Octavia vRs 2007 aircon problem

Just recently over the last couple of day I've noticed that my aircon is just blowing warm out, had it into the main stealer today and they blamed me for taking out the fuses and disconnecting the battery when fitting my towbar which according them wiped all the settings out gateway etc (whatever that means), anyway wouldn't contact the lease company and wouldn't do it on warranty but would charge me £140 but reduced it to £84 after a bit of grumping.

Anyway driving it home it's exactly the same so rung them again and he asked me to take it back in tomorrow.

Any ideas on what could be wrong, only got it in december and the only thing that has happened is that its been sat on my drive for a fortnight whilst I was away.

Had a quick browse through some forums and it was mentioned to press the econ but and recirc button and get this code "io" no brackets anybody have an idea on what this could be.

Cheers

Rich

First steps are to check
(1) the compressor clutch actually engages when you turn the AC on if not try checking for blown fuses before looking for anything more complex.
(2) there is actually gas in the system. for that you need something like this http://www.car-air-conditioning-supplies.co.uk/caraircon/product.php?productid=521&cat=31&page=1

If it is low you got a leak

Just thinking, does anyone know where I could get hold of a service manual or wiring diagram?
