header tanks?
evening all,
after a consideration of my coolant syatem on my pinto, i think i need to raise the header tank as the botton of my current header tank is very close
the head hieght of the block. do any of you know of any shallow header tanks that could be used, ive only got about 4-5" of space

Not sure how important what height the bottom of the header tank is ? I thought what matters is that it is high enough to have some air space above
the highest point in the cooling system .
Its cuz I is blond , innit

I have one, from volvo 440 - box shape.
measured to be 180 x 130 x 115 mm
now I have blue numbers on my hand
115 is height includng the cap and bottom mouunt - pipe(s) come out the side.
& no, you can't have it
possibly 850 may suit but not sure.

draw the size and shape you want and contact Deneo on here he will make you one in alloy for small number of beer tokens! (he's currently making
body panels for aston martin so you may have to wait a day or to to get a reply if you u2u him!)
